Beer and chicken...

I spend last Sunday making fried chicken.... so I thought I would post so picks of a pile of brined and cleaned raw chicken. I really only made this because I wanted to play with my new hattori boning knife. It was Thomas Keller's recipe from Ad Hoc.













They were organic free ranged something or other from my store.











Butter milk and flour mixture. You can see my new boardsmith ( http://www.theboardsmith.com/ ) cutting board in the left side of the picture 24x18x2 walnut.







Here is the chicken all coated. I dipped it twice to make sure I got a nice thick batter.




There are no finished photos... it just did not last long enough. I also meant to take pictures of my first watermelon, but it also got devoured before I could get any pictures. So.... heres some beer after all what is fried chicken with out beer.
